A refrigerated container, also known as a reefer container, is specifically designed for transporting goods that require temperature control. The temperature is regulated within a range of 25ºC to +25ºC, with a tolerance of just +/- 2ºC. These containers are available in a standard size of 40 feet, which is equivalent to 12,192 meters. This makes them suitable for a wide range of merchandise, whether it needs to be refrigerated with the container's engine on for preservation or with the engine off for enhanced insulation. However, it is important to note that if you primarily require superior insulation, it might be more cost-effective to consider storage containers instead. Their quality-price ratio is generally better suited for such needs.
