The Aerolift pipe lifting solutions are versatile and can be utilized in various industries for different purposes like production, storage, transhipment, and internal transport. Specifically, our lifting solution has been specially engineered to handle both bare and coated pipes on board The Amazon, a converted ultra-deepwater J-Lay vessel. Our vacuum lifting devices have been strategically installed on four cargo hold cranes of the ship. By operating the cranes in tandem mode, we can efficiently load and unload cargo consisting of 24-meter-long pipes. These innovative lifting devices are designed to limit the deflection of double joint pipes, ensuring safe and secure handling. Moreover, they are capable of securely lifting the entire pipe by utilizing vacuum technology.
