Leistritz Multiphase pump systems are widely used in the oil and gas industry around the world. These pumps are specifically designed to handle high gas volume fractions (GVF) and gas bubbles with up to 100% gas content. They can efficiently transport fluids at capacities of up to 5,000 m³/h and differential pressures of up to 150 bar.

Unlike traditional upstream installations, multiphase pumps eliminate the need for space-consuming separation devices at the borehole. They also eliminate the need for separate pumps, compressors, or pipelines to transport gas and fluid to central collection areas. This makes multiphase pumps a cost-effective technology for transporting multiphase fluids using just a single pipeline.

By avoiding the need to separate oil, water, and gas at the collection areas and exporting them separately through different pipelines, multiphase pumps simplify the transportation process. This not only saves space and reduces infrastructure costs but also streamlines operations, making it easier to maintain and manage the transportation of oil and gas to central production facilities.
