The product being described is a fire damper with an aluminium frame and various safety features. The frame is constructed using aluminium profile bars that are connected using Tox connections. It is equipped with an all-around EPDM lip seal for added security. The damper also includes hidden latches and screwed GKF gypsum plasterboards. It has been tested and certified for fire resistance according to NF EN 1634-1 : +A1 : 2018 standards.

Designed specifically for installation in false ceilings, these fire dampers, classified as EI 30, provide self-contained fire protection. One of the requirements for installation is that only combustible load exists on the room side, and it has a fire resistance class of EI 30.

The main function of these fire dampers is to prevent the spread of fire from the room into the false ceiling area. The integrated aluminium frame is equipped with a fire stop to enhance its effectiveness. The inspection hatch cover is fitted with a DF fire protection plate and sealed with a versatile all-round seal to prevent smoke entry. For additional safety, the cover is secured on both sides by automatic safety hooking arms.
