Our product range in the glass fibre reinforced plastic systems industry is centered around polyester resins (UP resins). These resins have a diverse range of applications and are essential to various industries. We offer a wide selection of UP resin systems, catering to different needs and requirements. Our range includes thixotrope standard systems for manual lamination and fibre spraying, as well as low-viscosity standard formulations suitable for polymer concrete and sanitary applications. We also provide specialized formulations for specific demands.Our UP resin systems have a broad spectrum of properties, making them suitable for use in a wide variety of industries. Some of the typical properties include a dense matrix/composite with a density ranging from approximately 1.1 g/cm³ to 1.5-1.7 g/cm³. The fibre content accounts for 25-50% of the total weight, and the moulded part mass per unit area is between 4500-8000 g/m². The flexural modulus of elasticity ranges from 5000-25,000 MPa with reinforcing mesh, and the bending resistance is between 130-260 MPa with reinforcing mesh. The impact resistance ranges from 45-95 KJ/m². Reinforcing materials used include continuous or cut glass fibre mats, fleece, mesh, and non-crimp fabrics.In addition to our standard UP resin systems, we also offer special formulations and versions to fulfill specific needs. These include styrene-reduced, environmentally friendly formulations, low-viscosity injection resins with reduced exothermic peak, formulations for the pultrusion process, systems with high chemical and hydrolysis resistance, DIN 1140 versions with special mechanical values and dimensional stability at temperatures exceeding 100 °C (HDT > 100 °C), resins with good adhesion for combination with PVC, and resin systems approved for the shipping industry (Det Norske Veritas/Lloyds Register of Shipping/Germanic Lloyd).
