Schniewindt specializes in manufacturing resistor units, with a majority of their products based on CSN® Resistor Webs. These resistor webs are created by weaving resistive wires into a meander shape using temperature resistant insulation yarn.
The resistor webs designed by Schniewindt offer numerous advantages. Firstly, they possess excellent high voltage strength and low inductivity, which is dependent on the type of resistor web. Additionally, these resistor webs are well-suited for high specific load operation due to the excellent convection conditions provided by their design.
To ensure durability and adaptability, Schniewindt selects special high-grade resistive alloys for manufacturing the resistor webs. This allows for the development of resistor units that can operate effectively in almost any environmental condition.
