The Aerolift pipe lifting solutions are versatile and can be used in various industries and environments, including production, storage, transhipment, and internal transport. In this particular case, we have specifically designed a lifting solution for handling both bare and coated pipes on board The Amazon, an ultra-deepwater J-Lay vessel.

To facilitate the loading and unloading process, our vacuum lifting devices have been installed on 4 cargo hold cranes. These cranes can operate in tandem mode, allowing for the efficient transportation of 24-meter-long pipes within the cargo area. Our lifting devices have been engineered to minimize deflection of double joint pipes and can safely handle the entire pipe using vacuum technology.
