The Odour Emission Control (OEC) filter concept from Scheuch COMPONENTS is a modular solution designed to combat unpleasant odours in various industries. Not only sewage and recycling plants, but also food production and agricultural settings can struggle with odour issues. By integrating an exhaust-air system with an odour filter, plant operators can effectively minimize odour levels that may affect their employees, neighbors, and the environment.

The OEC system is equipped with one or more biofilters, depending on the intensity of odour emissions and the size of the hall. These biofilters extract and clean the polluted air, thanks to the microorganisms found in the filters' material. These microorganisms effectively eliminate odours and dehumidify the air. To further enhance air quality, a downstream duct filter is employed to remove dust and other particles from the air.
