PROPYLUX® HS is a highly sought-after material designed specifically for orthopedic applications. Developed by Westlake Plastics Europe in 2004, this product has become widely used by orthopedic device manufacturers in Europe.

In terms of performance, PROPYLUX® HS surpasses Pomalux in terms of dimensional stability when subjected to repeated 134°C Prion autoclaving cycles. This ensures that the material retains its shape and integrity even under challenging conditions.

It is commonly used in the production of trial heads and cups for hip implants, knee provisional trials, and impactor applications.
