The Thermalert TX infrared temperature sensors are specifically designed for use in various industries. These sensors offer the convenience of remote addressability and can be easily installed in multidrop configurations.

The TX Series Smart Sensors utilize the HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) protocol, allowing them to communicate over a simple loop-powered 2-wire cable. This technology combines the industry-standard 4-20 mA output with simultaneous digital communications.

Included with the sensors is the Raytek DataTemp® Multidrop software, which provides a user-friendly interface for configuration and monitoring. This software allows users to archive temperatures and export data to other applications for analysis and process documentation.

The Smart TX sensors offer several advanced features, including remotely adjustable temperature and output subranges, adjustable emissivity, ambient temperature check, and a user-defined alarm output. These sensors also incorporate averaging and Advanced Peak/Valley Hold algorithms, ensuring accurate measurement of complex discrete processes.
