The Aerolift pipe lifting solutions cater to various industries and scenarios, including production, storage, transhipment, and internal transport. In this particular case, we have developed a specialized lifting solution specifically designed for handling both bare and coated pipes on board a ship. The ship in question, known as The Amazon, has been transformed into an ultra-deepwater J-Lay vessel. Our cutting-edge vacuum lifting devices have been strategically installed on four cargo hold cranes. When operating in tandem mode, these cranes efficiently load and unload 24-meter-long pipes as part of the cargo handling process. With a focus on minimizing deflection of double joint pipes, our lifting devices can handle the entire pipe solely through the use of vacuum technology.
