The sheathing thermocouples are versatile and can be used in various industries such as industrial, developmental, and laboratory settings. They are designed to withstand rugged conditions and have a compact size. The hot junction is insulated as a standard feature, ensuring accurate measurements without any interference from offset superposition.

One of the key features of sheathing thermocouples is their flexibility throughout the entire length. This allows for easy integration at the installation point, enabling temperature measurements to be taken closer to the desired measuring location. Additionally, the thermocouples can be connected to the data acquisition system through a connection lead, simplifying the routing process.

There are customization options available for the element diameter, element and wire length, as well as the type of connection configuration, such as plug, socket, or bare wire ends.

The temperature range for these thermocouples is -100 °C to +1,100 °C, depending on the selected sheathing diameter and the measuring medium or atmosphere. The wire type used is silicone, which has a continuous operating temperature of up to +180 °C.
