The COMPENSER® of the KL-series is an industrial shock absorber specifically designed for use in the light mechanical engineering industry. It is commonly used in handling equipment, small storage and retrieval machines, and small crane systems. This shock absorber is particularly well-suited for operational push-in cycles at creep speed, thanks to its low reset force provided by the compression spring.

In terms of design and function, the COMPENSER® operates as follows: the piston rod 2 pushes the piston 6 into the pressure chamber 7. Simultaneously, the damping medium flows through metering grooves located in the outer tube 8, passes through the piston 6, and enters the volume balance chamber 5. At the same time, the return spring 3 is tensioned. After the impact occurs, the return spring 3 pushes the piston rod 2 back to its initial position, causing the damping medium to flow back into the pressure chamber 7.

This innovative design ensures effective shock absorption and smooth operation in various light mechanical engineering applications.
