The QuellTech laser sensor family Q4 or Q5 is specifically designed for use in the industry. These sensors are typically mounted on an arm of a rotational axis, allowing them to scan the complete 360° angle of the internal surface in a sequential manner. In addition to this, the Q4 sensors can also be utilized for controlling the weld seam tracking, offering rapid setup and user-friendly operation.

One of the key advantages of the Q Series sensor is its modular system, which enables quick adaptation to project requirements. Even within a single project, the range and scope of these sensors demonstrate their flexibility and versatility. The smallest system in the series has been proven to enable fast analysis of pipes as small as 105mm.

Notably, the Q Series sensors consume low power and support standard communication protocols. This makes them suitable for integration into battery-powered systems that can wirelessly transmit data to other systems for review and cloud backup.
