Available in various sizes ranging from 10 to 300 liters, each glass vessel is constructed using high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, providing exceptional durability. With a pressure range of -1.0 (FV) to +0.5/1.0 bar and a temperature range of -60 °C to +200 °C, our Nutsche Filters offer optimal performance in a wide range of operating conditions. The included filter cloth, with a mesh size ranging from 8 to 115 microns, ensures effective solid-liquid separation during the filtration process.For enhanced versatility, we provide additional materials such as PTFE, PFA, and ETFE, as well as a clean-room setup, to meet your specific process requirements. When used in conjunction with our reactors, our Buchi Nutsche Filters deliver impeccable solid-liquid separation after the synthesis. The inert materials used in their construction allow for safe processing in an inert atmosphere, accommodating a diverse range of solvents and acids. Moreover, our unique buchiflex glass system, completely sealed and operating under full vacuum, guarantees optimum performance and reliability.During operation, the slurry is effortlessly transferred into the filter, where the filter cloth retains the solid content, forming a filter cake. Meanwhile, the filtrate smoothly flows to the outlet valve located in the bottom plate.
