This compact hydraulic buffer is ideal for limiting the end position or serving as an emergency end stop in industrial applications where space-saving is crucial. Additionally, its low reset force allows for operational pushin cycles at creep speed.

The design and function of the hydraulic buffer are as follows: The piston rod enters the metering tube, and the damping medium flows from the pressure chamber through the throttle orifices of the metering tube into the volume balance chamber. The nitrogen gas between the outer tube and the metering tube is compressed, storing the energy required for the reset of the piston rod. Upon returning to the initial position, the damping medium flows back into the pressure chamber.
